Raj Kishor Joshi has joined the team led by Dr. Brynmor Haskell at CAMK, working on the project “MERLIN: Magnetic field dynamics in neutron stars”. The Polish National Science Center funds this project under the OPUS-LAP grant (No. 2022/47/I/ST9/01494) and is part of an international collaboration with Prof. Sebastiano Bernuzzi’s team at the University of Jena, Germany.
Before this, he was a post-doctoral fellow at IIT Indore, India. His research focuses on the study of accretion and outflows around compact objects like black holes, neutron stars, and binary black hole mergers in the AGN disks.
